He manages the operations, the facility, the community relationships, and the marketing. If something needs doing, Damien does it.

Before Boxcross, Damien spent 12 years building and scaling businesses with his long-term business partner Gareth Watts. Together they co-founded Solar Panel Funding and H2B Windows, both rated number one in the UK in their sectors, and grew a portfolio of companies turning over £12 million-plus a year. He deployed over £60 million in advertising across Meta, Google, TikTok, and YouTube. He knows what it takes to build something that's genuinely the best, not just locally but nationally.

There's a personal reason he cares so much about this place. A few years ago, while running multiple companies, Damien was overweight, pre-diabetic, and dealing with fatty liver disease. He lost over 60kg through a complete metabolic reset. Reversed the fatty liver. Fixed his blood sugar. Rebuilt his health from scratch. That experience changed how he saw fitness. He created the Metabolic Reset Blueprint, a 110-page system for busy professionals who need to fix their metabolism without wrecking their lives. So when he talks about what this gym can do for people, he's speaking from experience, not a brochure.

Brendan is Damien's brother, a competitive bodybuilder, and a YouTube creator with over one million subscribers. His channel grew that fast in under a year, making him one of the top five fitness creators in Britain. YouTube gave him the Gold Creator Award. The BBC and ITV both covered his story.

He started filming in January 2025 to document a comeback to competitive bodybuilding after 14 years away from the stage. No gimmicks. Just the real process of rebuilding a competition-ready physique at 36 years old as a father of three who also helps run a business. People connected with it because it was honest.

The comeback worked. At the BPA English Grand Prix, Brendan took first place in Novice Bodybuilding. Six days earlier he'd placed runner-up at the PCA competition. He put on five pounds in under a week and came back to win.

His bodybuilding and nutrition knowledge shapes how Boxcross coaches its members. The training programmes, the guidance on diet, the approach to progressive overload. It all comes from years of competitive experience and the same direct, no-nonsense style that built his audience online.

Jordan Gill is a former professional boxer from Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. His record stands at 28 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw across 32 professional fights. He held the Commonwealth Featherweight Title, the European Featherweight Title, the WBA International Featherweight Title, and the WBA International Super-Featherweight Title. In December 2023 he stopped former two-time Olympian Michael Conlan in the seventh round in Belfast.

Boxing is half of Jordan's story. The other half is mental health. He has spoken publicly about reaching his lowest point and trying to take his own life. That experience drove him to found the Jordan Gill Next Generation Foundation in 2019. The charity runs boxing sessions in schools and community centres across Fenland every week, giving young people a physical outlet and a space where honest conversation happens naturally. During the Covid lockdowns, Cambridgeshire County Council commissioned Next Generation to deliver boxing activities as part of their summer programme.

When Boxcross opened, Jordan said it was probably the best gym he'd ever been to, and he's trained in gyms all over the world. His boxing philosophy runs through everything we do on the pads and in the ring. From kids picking up gloves for the first time to adults who want serious sparring, the coaching standards here reflect someone who fought at world level.

Gareth is the fourth co-founder. He and Damien have been business partners for over 12 years, building the companies that came before Boxcross. At the gym, Gareth supports the long-term strategy and growth planning. The vision goes beyond Wisbech, and Gareth helps turn that ambition into real plans.
